Civic pride is important and contributes to a safe and tidy town. I was impressed with the dedication councillors put into our town environment and agreed to stand for the new Rowdens Ward. The local issues I consider important are: promoting a

modern Teignmouth Health Centre; our Primary Health Care is at risk; reducing traffic speed and emissions; putting safety first; giving the community a say on planning; redeveloping derelict sites for homes before taking more bites out of the countryside; improving the environment; keeping high standards for our beaches and supporting the Teign Estuary Trail which will benefit health and wellbeing, attract visitors and boost local jobs and businesses. Teignmouth is a lovely place to live but that is always a work in progress for the council with your support.
