Cate Williams

I have lived in Teignmouth since April 2012 having moved from another seaside resort, Torquay. As a Town Councillor, I want to work with residents, businesses and fellow councillors to enhance our town and to build on the community spirit that we have. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in community events and am Honorary Secretary of the Richard Newton Hall Community Association and a Trustee of the Kingsway Residents Association (The Meadowside Centre). In my professional role, I have been advising and representing parents in the field of Child Care Law for over 16 years. It is important to me to continue working with and supporting families both as a Child Care Law professional but also now as a Town Councillor.

I am grateful to have been elected as the Mayor of Teignmouth and am eager to make a positive impact in this role. I look forward to collaborating with our community to achieve great things together.
