Minutes

To approve, sign and adopt the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday, October 8th.

Resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday, 8th October be approved and signed as a correct and accurate record of the meeting.

Markets Stalls

Minutes:

Terrill informed the Cllrs that all the stalls have been booked and a map of the area has been drafted. Cllrs will decide which stall goes where at the next meeting.

 

42.

Food and Drink

Minutes:

The beverage stall cancelled and Terrill was in the process of finding a replacement. Terrill will report back at the next meeting.

Entertainment

Minutes:

Cllr Williams has booked some acts for the stage and will send a draft schedule over to the officers.

 

Terrill will contact the schools and check if they are joining the lantern parade.

 

 

44.

Santa Grotto

Minutes:

Cllr Jackson informed the Cllrs that she has everything for the grotto and will be going in the day before to decorate.

 

Cllr Rudge would like to borrow the decorations after the Santa Grotto and will arrange to take them that day.

 

Officers will order the grotto gifts this week and a wrapping party will be arranged once everything has arrived.

 

 

45.

Logistics on the day

Minutes:

Officers will be down at the Triangle early on the day to direct traffic for the stalls and rides.

 

The TC will organise the delivery and erection of the hired gazebos, including TTC’s.

 

 

46.

Civic Carol Service

Minutes:

Cllr Williams gave a brief update that things are moving along.

 

Officers will check with the Alice Cross regarding catering and advertising will go out once the Christmas event has taken place.

47.

Any Other Business

Minutes:

Posters have been created and prizes gathered for the window competition and officers will distribute them next week.
