Members considered the minutes of the meeting held on 13th June 2023

 

Resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on 13th June 2023 be approved and signed as a correct and accurate record of the meeting.

Commercial waste bins

Update From TDC/Terry Hayes

Minutes:

The situation in the has not percieveably approved.

 

Cllr Cox DCC to take up with DCC to get enforcement action.

Cafe Pavement Licences

a)    Are they being transferred from DCC to TDC

b)    Enforcement from DCC and Future if TDC

Minutes:

The clerk informed the m,eeting that DCC still issue these liscences and that TDC can still issue temporary ones up until september 2024.

The situation will not be fully clarified until the government publish and pass the leveling up bill.

Beach Management

Update on  the beach management plan, the groynes and sand

Minutes:

Feedback from the TECP indicates that the beach management plan is now scheduled for completion in late 2023.

Den Decorative Lighting

Update from TDC will it be replaced or not?

Effect on the safety of women and girls

There has still been no official response on this item, Allie Clarke will report back to the next meeting.

Teign Estuary Trail

Update from DCC (Hannah Clark)

Minutes:

Allie Clarke informed the meeting that TDC are intending to offer some start up money for the project.

TTC Update

Report From Town Clerk (Iain Wedlake)

Minutes:

CCTV. The Clerk informed the meeting that the first phases of the contract had been let and installation would start shortly.

 

Toilets. The Clerk informed the meeting that discussions are continuing with TDC regarding them instigating the current hiatus and a resolution to it.
