Use of Mobile Phones

In accordance with Minute 30, mobile phones be limited to personal use only (in case of emergencies) and in which case the Councillor is to leave the room to respond. Councillors must switch their mobile phones to silent during the meeting to avoid disruption.

Exclusion of press and public

Council in formal session part - 2 Members are recommended to move and approve the following resolution: “To move that in view of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted viz; information where public disclosure at this time may be prejudicial to the good business of the Council it is in the public interest that they be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw in accordance with Standing Order 3 g.”

Toilets project "Change of position by Teignbridge District Council"

To consider the confidential report and its recommendations.

Minutes:

Council resolves to maintain the clerk’s delegated authority in terms of handing the existing toilets back to TDC and that if the clerk is not able to attain sufficiently robust guarantees From TDC regarding the “enabling” works, dowery payments, heads of terms for transfers and leases and any other critical items. Then they should be handed back.

 

The Clerk to demand a meeting of TDC elected officials and officers no later than the 16th with and extraordinary full council called the day after such a meeting.
